Which are the good Stamp Hinges? Dennison or Dennison's?

Morning, I use the "Supersafe" type because they are peelable without leaving any remnants. Made by Vidiforms. When I used "Dennison" they peeled differently.

The good ones will be spelled "Dennison" on the package, and the later imitation ones are spelled with an "e" instead of an "o", Dennisen". And Subway later marketed Dennis' hinges using the same equipment, but they couldn't really produce the same quality. Vintage Harco hinges are also good.

I already have "Dennison" but remember a couple years ago a discussion about one or the other not peeing off the stamps very good. I think they were the Dennison's but I'm not sure. I searched but couldn't find the article. I only hinge used stamps anyway.

I don't know, but have been told (and believe) that all stamps hinges that are available today (still made today) are made by only one company (no matter what brand they may actually be).

I can assure you that the old green Dennisons (and two or three brands sold by others but made by Dennison) peel more easily than anything that is made today. Dennisens (with an "E") do not peel as easily.

I collect U.S. but you don't have to send stamps. Just tell me how to find the P.M. Thanks, Gary

Gar look in your email inbox and in some of your folders and make sure it's not being received by your provider as spam. I'm receiving your emails so it's on your end. The ones I'm sending you are going somewhere. I've sent you two emails now and I have received two from you.
