This is a fine idea and makes sense, but I think it needs some major organization. Don't forget - this is a worldwide hobby with thousands and thousands of common stamps out there. If even 100 people on this forum were to start participating, this thread would become, like many others, incredibly long and hard to search.

I suggest those interested come to some early decisions about how to organize the threads (with administrators' permission/guidance.

One thought would be to create separate threads under the TRADE area.

Perhaps create separate threads for WANT and AVAILABLE - for U.S., Canada, U.K.-Commonwealth, Europe, Asia, Africa, Pacific Islands, South America, Central America/Caribbean ... (others?) ... At least that would organize it a bit.

Just want to second the poster who mentioned the APS circuits. I received my first Canada books yesterday and they are full of odds and ends low value stamps as well as some high ticcket items. Seems to be a great way to fill holes.

I've yet to get a circuit book from aps yet and I was told I'm on the list.
