Any Interest In World Postal Stationery?

Both these posts are nice! I don't recall ever seeing a perfin on postal stationery. Where else did this practice exist?

Found a few new items to share.
These are from Netherlands (WWII era)

The first two are pre_paid_postage envelopes for family members to write to members of Dutch Navy (M) and Dutch Army (L) forces.





The next two are for the same purpose, but only to Dutch forces in Netherlands Indies.





May have a few more before the day is over....

Here is an unusual item.
Japan provided a free postal service for soldiers stationed in Manchukuo (Manchuria) from 13th November 1931. The 4 characters under the image say Military Mail. The box below that were for Censor initials.
The cards were sent through branches of the South Manchurian Railway Zone Post Offices operating under the Kwantung Communications Bureau based in Dairen, although the service was tightly controlled by the military due to a need for censorship.
(Some of the above information came from a Manchukuo Stamp webpage).
Unused copies of this (and other military items) are not that hard to find. A used one however, is... go figure!

Here is a neat start to a Japan collection. Every year since 1950 (1949 issue date) the Japanese have issued New Year Cards with lottery drawing numbers affixed.(cars issued in November-December of proceeding year, i.e., a 1950 New Years card was issued in 1949, etc.) It is a BIG yearly event. So, for 66 years there are different designed cards issued. Got get em....

Here is another Japanese Gunji Yubin (military mail) postal card.
This one features a anchor with the "military Mail" 4 characters below
image. Used during WWII period. Enjoy

GregAlex: Here is a perfin (L/F.D.) on a piece of stationery from India. No ID has been established for this perfin pattern yet (or at least since the last catalog I have). Enjoy.



Note: The perfin pattern is on the stamp AS WELL as the envelope. Dated 1983.

Yours was sent from Eger (now Cheb) in the westernmost part of Bohemia to Fogaras, Ungarn, Siebenbürgen = Fagaras, Hungary, Transylvania (then part of the Kingdom of Hungary, therefore its name in Hungarian). Transylvania is now central part of Romania ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F%C4%...4%83ra%C8%99 and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transylvania ).

As tommtomm suggests your last item is an official postal envelope worth 1 Kreuzer issued in Austria-Hungary for secure mailing Austro-Hungarian currency and bond coupons, whether by private persons or organisations, requiring the sender to state the number of pieces of each denomination of banknotes or statenotes enclosed as well as the total sum of money enclosed on the front of the envelope, and to seal the envelope with sealing wax and signet.

This particular cover was issued for use in Croatia (the second language used is Croatian) before 1892 when the Austro-Hungarian Gulden was replaced by the Krone.

The same money envelope as above issued in Austria-Hungary for use in the Czech Lands. The sum of 276 Gulden 20 Kreuzer was sent from Holešovice-Bubna (now part of Prague) to Nürnberg, Bayern = Nuremberg, Bavaria on July 10, 1878.
