It's a pretty card, but I'm afraid it doesn't actually fit into any of my collecting areas. It's too late to qualify for my "one unused 19th-century postal card from everywhere" collection, and the Olympics aren't a topic that I collect in later cards. Now if the inscription were in Czech, French, and Esperanto, for example, it would be something I could use.
Thanks for the offer, anyway. I'm sure you can find someone else here who'll be willing to take it off your hands! |

Here is a private print postal card, issued in Germany in 1913 (or thereabouts) to honor the 25th anniversary of Kaiser Wilhelm II. The card has a catalog number of PP-23 (stamp number_ with a C-41 printing. The card has an added bonus to me of having been cancelled with a "Tubingen Bahnhof" cancel on June 24, 1913. Enjoy! |

Very nice! I have a weakness for German patriotic stuff like that, especially when you throw coats of arms and a zeppelin into the mix!
Why is the Tübingen Bahnhof cancel a bonus for you? Is it just because it's a clear postmark, or do you have some special interest in Tübingen, railway stations, or that particular date? |

Cool! I love it when more than one of my interests coincide on a single cover, such as a postcard inscribed in Esperanto and bearing a stamp featuring the runestone of Harald Bluetooth. |

Germany: Deutsch Bundpost:Michel P-125: Issue date 1978. The card really isn't rare or valuable, but it has one of the most interesting "blimps" picture that I have ever seen! What a neat flying machine! Wings no less!!!!! Enjoy |
