Even US Mail Trucks (in select urban areas) will feature the Spiderman theme:

It is also being reported that APC stamps/labels from Postal Kiosks will feature a Spiderman design, too:

While I really don't agree with the advertising I hope it helps to turn them around.

Well I saw my first truck today, since eons ago. Two of them. however no spiderman wrapping. I figure this must be for NY type of markets where they wrap the buses for new movies typically.

In another thread I made a remark about the latest USA Philatelic catalog and why they put Harry Potter on the front again. Well, it looks like they missed the boat again. Not that I am for all this Spiderman nonsense, but they could have put him on the catalog. At least he is thoroughly American!

It's nice that the USPS put out a list of APC locations where you can get the Spiderman stamps/labels, but for the uninitiated there are some glowing errors in the list.

For example, there are no Rhode Island locations listed, yet they are listed under "Connecticut" instead. Likewise, some Massachusetts locations are listed under "Connecticut". It must be that the USPS put together the list hastily by how they are overseen by postal authorities (i.e. Connecticut must handle Rhode Island and Western Massachusetts locations) so they grouped them together without a State name to identify their actual location without further look-up.

Nonetheless, there are no locations featuring Spiderman stamp/labels within 30 miles of where I live and I'm simply not planning on driving that far to buy a label featuring Spiderman. Maybe if I'm in the area on other business it would be worth it, but not solely to get these stamps/labels.

Today, when I went to the announced Spider-man 2 location near me, I was told they did not have any Spiderman computer vended stamps on the self-serve ATM, however I went to their self-service stamp vending ATM machine myself and discovered it was there and printed a pane of 10. I then showed pane to postal employees in case someone else asked???? Maybe the machines are loaded remotely and employees don't know what is there???? Lot of money spent of this promotion and not have everyone on board.
