I have gone back to my childhood joy of worldwide collecting. Many decades ago, my Mom gave me some stamps, to keep a young boy out of trouble. Little did she know...

I deny being addicted to stamps. And all the hundreds of thousands of little bits of paper that surround me are in complete agreement with me. We are just good buddies.

Very well said haha,
considering I only bought my first 'Kiloware' about 2 years ago on a complete guess to what this 'Kiloware' was, (curiosity), now my family keep asking me 'what has gotten into you lately, your leaving stamps everywhere',
Then they even hover them up!, luckily they are only the recent definitives self adhesive(UK) and so are not important to me (as of yet),

you got it.

What got me into collecting was my love of history and some of my personality. I am an accountant and a little OCD, so having nice little pages of stamps makes my brain very happy.

Thanks,
Wow, what a nice way to put it, im also OCD (and also get 'racing thoughts'),
one more question, honnest, Do you think it would ever be possible for one single person to collect every stamp of the world? (bit of a random question but this one has been puzzle-ing me for awhile)

TJ, it's always good to set parameters for yourself because you can easily become overwhelmed in this hobby. I know when I got back into the hobby a few years ago I bit off more than I could chew and just ended up accumulating and never really "collecting". Good article from Linn's refresher course kind of elaborating on that theory. http://www.linns.com/howto/refreshe...rcourse.aspx
