I want to say Sir John A. MacDonald (for the non-religious), he features on 7:

3¢ Confederation, 1867-1917 issued 15 September 1917
1¢ Macdonald issued 29 June 1927
2¢ The Fathers of Confederation issued 29 June 1927
12¢ Laurier & Macdonald issued 29 June 1927
13¢ Confederation, Charlottetown, 1864 issued 1 June 1935
5¢ London Conference, 1866 issued 26 May 1966
1¢ Macdonald /Macdonald 17 October 1973

If you take into account Schools, roads, institues etc. There are a few more.

Say what you want about who you think Jesus is or was, but to deny he didn't exist is akin to saying Julius Caesar didn't exit. He is a historical figure. He existed. Get over it.

Well I dont think that Julius Caesar is a good comparison.
There is lots of tangible evidence that Caesar really existed,
not only that but we probably have more real facts about him
than any other personality of ancient times.

But to say that there never was a person we call Jesus Christ
is plain ridiculous.
As mentioned before there is some historical evidence, not much
but enough.

I have problems with some of the story such as the miracles
and even the resurrection but how could a world wide religion
of over 2 billion people be based on basically nothing,
a person that didn't even exist ?

Can you imagine up to about 300 years ago they would burn
you at the stake if one had beliefs like that.

There is enough evidence that Jesus Christ did exist, no less then any other historical figures of the time. He was not a mythical person; the question is WHO was he. Many people have there own beliefs - son of god, prophet, extraterrestrial visitor, ordinary man, you name it.

But he is the clear winner to the question in this forum because the stamps were issued with the INTENTION that he was real person. Case closed (on answering the stamp question, anyway )
