My local Marker Monkeys must no longer be trusted with pointy pens. I've been getting packages with uncancelled stamps lately. |

Hi, received "A Catalog of United States Revenue Stamped Documents of the Civil War Era by type and tax rate" today.
Was able to find a used copy, appears never to have been used.
Outstanding deal, I was very lucky.

Not to spark a political discussion here. I collect Inauguration covers for all and any who hold the office - and have sent things to the White House before but this is the first reply I've had in the last three administrations. This time I sent a set of 7 different Inauguration Day Covers that I made, since my favorite source no longer makes covers I had to design my own and have sold over 500 via ebay and other outlets the since the Inauguration this year. Guys were buying them from me while I stood in line at the Washington DC Postal museum just after attending the ceremony. Since I moved near DC in '85 I've attended them all with the exception of one because I was on travel for business. It's a good opportunity to see history... but really go for the covers. The covers are all the same, but sport each of the "classics" issues and the Stamp Act issue. This is an example of the covers: This is what I got in the mail: Jeff |

That is typical of President Trump. My son, an attorney in Dallas, has had similar positive interactions with him. |

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. And I like it that way. No bills. No junk mail. I worked hard to get off all of the junk mail lists. Bill are mostly auto-pay where I could not otherwise limit. Not a credit card solicitation in years. Once I found out how to kill those, my mail volume decreased. Used to get 2-3 per day.
Now I do enjoy getting shipments of stamps. Just nothing today. |

Hi, received an auction item I bid on and won. Surprised no one bid on it. A real nice Nov 1862 U.S. revenue stamps with a socked on the nose, circular date stamp, and really clear readable.

On approval, a Canada 158 Bluenose, MNH-Fine at over $300. Too pricey for a Mint Fine for me. Rather put $ on a MNH-VF, which I did last Sunday, before receiving an e-mail that the 1st one was mailed, on approval. Stamp already posted elsewhere and have not received it from Deveneys Stamps yet, a good dealer in Western Canada. https://goscf.com/t/55799&whichpage=1 |
