On June 14, 1993 Finland issued a one-pane booklet of 5 different 2.30 mk stamps to commemorate the birth centenary of artist and illustrator Martta Wendelin (1893-1986). One of the stamps (Facit #1219) shows an illustration from a 1931 schoolbook depicting a mother and daughter knitting.  |
