While the emblem, whether left facing or right facing, has been around for a long time, I do think the orientation of the Nazi version, being shifted 45 degrees, is relatively distinctive. In most other uses it is strictly orthogonal.
Except as a postal cancellation! Then no telling what angle it will appear at.
Here is a Swastika on a P.C. used way before the 3rd Reich was around and was used as a good luck charm. I have seen numerous cards similar to this. This is even oriented "right" to resemble the Nazi swastika to follow. As you can clearly see it's a birth announcement/welcome card. No sinister intent here just thought it interesting and plus it fits here.
