wert: Two volumes might allow more room for more varieties to be added especially for the Canada Classic (1851-1951) stamps since these stamps do not have new issues added to them every year. What if both separate volumes are sold together only as a pair? Some books with two volumes are sold together in one slipcase that is divided into two parts or in two volumes being shrink wrapped together as one set.
