Johathan, I think it is almost certain that your stamps are on watermarked paper, although by 1962 it will most certainly be a faint watermark. Your piece of document with $30.80 in documentary stamps is almost certainly a real estate transaction in the amount of no more than $28000. The tax rate was 55¢ per $500 or portion thereof.

The 1947 transaction is almost certainly another real estate transaction in the amount of no more than $4500.
