I have been contacted by a gentleman in Toronto (one hour drive) who says...He has a Scott #90 stamp with inverted portrait and frame..He is asking $125.00 for it..WOW..If this real, and I will be driving there today to check it out..If this stamp is genuine, I will post pictures of it later tonight or first thing tomorrow morning..I have never heard of such an error, but if it comes true..WOW.

If the portrait AND the frame are both inverted, why not just turn the stamp right up. I'm assuming since the stamp is only one color and was engraved, it was all printed at once. I hope you don't waste the gas for a foolish trip.

This is not new , it's a 90c ( was 90bi before ) ; if my memory is good it's $ 15,000 to $20,000. It has to be a panes of 12 imperforated with 6 regular and 6 inverted, only 20 exist, this is the only way to know it's inverted. ( those was suposed to be a 90b booklet of 6

Why this guy will sell you a 20,000 stamp for $ 125 when he can walk in any stamps store and Toronto and sell it .. The guy will sell you a 90a imperf. for $ 125 .... he is very lucky to find a fish ( 1 April ) to catch,

they make also other less rare inverted, , the one on the photo cost $ 2000 ,

Wert, what are the chance that someone who know nothing about stamps have 1 of the only 20 existing panes of 12 ? the only 20 panes produced are all in collector hands right now, you run after a crook

Our eyes actually see everything upside down because of optical images, but the brain corrects this for us or we would be in big trouble.
