It won't do KenR any good if after his 40 items close and this guy wins nearly all of them, then doesn't pay for them, to think about sending lots registered. That's not the issue there. The issue is whether this guy is simply trying to "get even" by bidding on all those items with no intent to pay? Based on Ken's research, I think the odds of this guy actually completing the sales then paying for the material are very small. And in that event, Ken would be stuck having no sales + all the extra work of relisting. If he would not have done the research and come up with a good picture of recent bidding activity, I would say sure, take a chance. But not based on the combination of his activity and the BIN rejection.

I completely agree with Bill and would take Jenny's advice about blocking the bidder. |

One thing is that someone told me I was getting several retracted bids I suspect by the same person but as a seller you can't see the retracted bids. So the consensus here is to block the bidder altogether? Now its stupid that sellers cannot give negatives anymore because almost every ebay buyer has 100% and when you get the odd one like this you have no way of knowing if other sellers have had trouble with him. However this bidder does have a negative which reads: PUT MISSLEADING DESCRIPTION THEN THREATENED BAD FEEDBACK WHEN I COMPLAINED Buyer: h***l ( 29Yellow star icon for feedback score in between 10 to 49) During past year Feedback conversation Reply by 49cab (25-Nov-14 16:54): TROLL WANTED TO PAY 99pINSTEAD OF 75GBP,NOT MISSLEADING,refused to remove bid. What do you guys make of his feedback? He appears to be a seller. |

duncanvr,
Now that your listings have expired, What happened?? Did you block him? Did the Buyer retract? Or did the sales go through? We're dying to know!

Sales all went through normally, he didn't win any of them. I cannot see any retracted bids as a seller so can't tell as bidding history looks normal. Maybe someone here can look at my current auctions and see if there are any retacted bids going on still. I have the same id on here as ebay. |

Yes it is win-win when lots of bidders tell me they can't win due to bigger bidders on my lots |

duncanvr you might want to consider adding your ebay Id to your profile and then each of your posts would have a link to your ebay items, a little free advertising can't hurt. |

At the top of this page there is a little yellow banner "Sell on ebay? Get your ..." just click it and there are instructions. When you talk about your items people can click your link and see 1st hand what you have listed. Ken |

Thanks Ken. That says I should be able to add my ebay store to my profile, but when I go to my profile there's no option for me to do it |

I am not the most qualified person to advise you but I'll try. At the top I went to "My SCF" this took me to "Welcome to your SCF Control Panel" I clicked on "Manage Your Profile" this took me to "User Profile" and a sign-in. After signing in I got to "Edit User Profile" and the place for my ebay id was second item on the left. Hope this does it for you. Ken |

Being new to the board, I find the above discussion very helpful. Is there a place where these discussion are (or can be) extracted and posted.... "SCB User Tips" or something? Maybe under the Support and Testing section or the super secret General Discussion area? |
