Really interesting answers, thank you. Any info. about good european online auction houses or good places for resellers? Guess that many people based on the US market. I heard it was a major problem at these auctions that resellers buy at higher prices than they resalle later .

About guy who spam this topic asking (?!) about the stamp. Its not "ustase" stamp. It official Croatia NDH stamp and can be found Michel number 109., year 1943. Its put only because I collect that area stamps. Do you have anything against philately? Would You like we burn some stamps? Maybe British colonies?

As the "guy who spammed this topic" ...

Of course it's an official stamp, issued by Pavelic's Ustase-based government, which was responsible for the genocidal killings of Jews, Roma and Serbs. Hence my "really?".

You started an interesting subject. But I think that it would be nice to comment it on some other topic. Its philately, not politics. People collect stamps and objects issued by different regimes. So, guess You would forbid collecting German Third Reich or Stalin era stamps, or Mao Chineese stamps and putting the pictures of that stamps?
British gouvernment and king/queen was responsible for an
occupation, enslavement, torture, killings... and people still collect and put pictures of british colonial stamps. I dont have anything about collecting that area and have one personal collection of british colonial stamps.

Edited: Just for Your knowledge Croatia in that time was the country admitted to the Universal Postal Union. One stamp ISSUED by Croatia at the same year as the stamp on my avatar (1943.) was declared as the most beautiful stamp of the world for 1943. according to UPU. Stamp on avatar was official and worldwide admitted stamp like all Croatia stamps from that period.

Stamps are a reflection of the government that printed them, they are not the reason for that government's policies. Every government that has ever existed has things to be ashamed of, it's part of them being run by people.

Let me put it another way. I have plenty of stamps from more or less unsavoury regimes, including Pavelic's puppet-state, the Slovakian puppet-state, Mussolini's Italy, Franco's Spain. That's philately, and history. But I certainly wouldn't use, say, a German Third Reich stamp as an avatar. That would be indicating my personal support for what it represented.
