I was just sorting some recent acquisitions from Africa, when I ran across this!! It commemorates the 75th anniversary of the zeppelin. |

Quote: do all stamps have watermarks? No. Some do, some don't. Some same design stamps were issued both with and without watermarks, or with different watermarks. Most catalogs will mention the presence of watermarks. Specialized catalogs will mention watermark varieties. Some collectors will ignore watermarks completely and just collect "face different" stamps. I always suggest, collect what you want, the way you want, because YOU should enjoy YOUR collection! (my opinion) k |

That's the interrupted flight. A cover probably $60.00, a post card usually less. |

Still awaiting for any comments to me. Is the envelope some kind of forgery? It was sent to Los Angeles, but received in New York only. If somebody knows explanation, please kindly advise. I researched online, found more covers with the "1st Fahrt" cancellation 8.5.1936, but couldn't find anything what kind of First trip it was. Thank you. |
