You can find them starting at $1 or less, but most on ebay are very badly centered or defective. The stamp still cats $17.50, so a nice one should still bring at least somewhat more. This is used out of period, but a RR collector might still pay $5 or a bit more for it; most dealers would at least ask for that. In any case it would not be likely to wind up in any dollar box unless he put all his covers into it. I have looked through many dollar boxes and have never found a 114 in one unless it was damaged.
