oceanguy...I've PM'd you. Yes, I collect Canada as well. As for mint versus used: for the garden variety commemoratives, I'm not a snob. As long as the stamps are good condition and not heavily cancelled, I like used. I do collect mint U.S., but not strictly. They are easier for me to get my hands on, obviously. I used to have a source that sent me mint Canada a few times a year, but that dealer retired. So I have a stretch during the early 2000's where I have most of Canada's stamps mint. That ended back in 2008 I think.

Thanks for pm DaveG28. Most of the stamps I have are used, I just have a small stockbook of mint stamps I have come by in my collecting. Are you still interested in current Canadian mint issues?

Current mint Canada...to some extent. It's not a necessity to me to collect mint. It was a means to an end at the time as I was developing that collection. I'll be perfectly happy pursuing a collection of used Canada. I'll take mint when the opportunity arises to fill a need or, say, someone visits Canada and brings me back some stamps. I have friends that travel, and they have standings orders to pick up stamps for me when possible. I received some great UK stamps this summer that way!
