Here is the Viljandi, Estonia coat of arms stamp as Roberto59 shows in his posting above (page 12), but with the right selvage showing a city scene. This is stamp position 15 from the sheet of 25 (5 x 5).

Here is the coat of arms of the Kochel-Brau Brewery (ca. 1870-1922) of Bavaria, Germany. The Duke of Saxony had endorsed the beer as his "table drink". So, in deference to him the Saxony coat of arms replaces the Bavarian (Wittelsbach) emblem in the center of the Brewery's coat of arms.

Very nice label bookbndrbob!

As well as being the Wettin family arms (and the arms of the modern state of Saxony), these were the small version of the arms of the Duchy of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha that is referred to on the label.

Thanks Nigel. I slipped up a little here.

Also, I have noticed, from time to time, royal coats of arms elements appearing in other areas. I guess this happened in the era of royal families marrying into royal families.

We can talk a lot about this topic, and there are really nice issues in the "Coat of Arms" field for sure! Starting with Czechoslovakia engraved issues to modern Russia self-adhesive one.
But I like this set from Yugoslavia, Scott # 250-256, set of 7 values, six that give us Coat of Arms of each Republic and one of Yugoslavia alone.
It was made in 1948 year, just three year after WWII, and it is one really good set that say a lot!
