Another possible source for information is the MexiMail Forum, a chatboard similar to this one but with a focus on the stamps and postal history of Mexico.

http://meximail.org/index.php

The MexiMail chatboard is independant of MEPSI, but has many of the same people involved.

Registration is required to make a post, but is free. Take the time to read the Rules and Guidelines, and find the correct section to post your question. Most questions can be answered within a few days.

Evening all,

Thank you all for your great input

Galeoptix....so a repeatable chance there then, maybe some others have turned up, I'll keep an eye out.
I need to get some more specialised catalogues on this area as I seem to have picked up a nasty Mexican Bug

Climber Steve.....I have been to that site before & lost a lot of time in there ;) your're right, I need to join up there as I think I'm going to need their cert. help too. I'm finding more cool stamps in these.

mml1942.....that's a new one on me, I'll be in there too & I'll be happy to take your advice ;)

.......................................

I had to remove this one(Sc#C66) to get a better look at it & scan it, still not sure but I think it may just be the way the glue has been applied, I put a couple of my Russian vert.laid stamps next to it for a look, but interested in your thoughts on it as I can't make up my mind either way.
Thanks everyone for your interest......Jad
