Now that you mention it, there does appear to be a scratch/crack in the LR corner running down from the D in GOODS. Good eye!

Well it has been over a year from collecting and revenue stamps. Went to my first show this weekend and after reading the new acquisitions found this nice copy of r54b with dark plate wash (if I am correct in this assumption) and nice upper margin single. just throwing my new r54b into your gems.

I attended CHARPEX yesterday and was a little disappointed. Lot's of people (which is good), some new dealers stopping by on their way to richmond next weekend (even better), but the revenue pickins were slim, (which was bad!). I ended up spending quite a bit of time at Earl Reeder's table and was able to fill two long dormant spots in the second issue series with these two. Both have VERY light cut cancels but these odd values seem to be very hard to find in decent shape at the right price.

Very nice, southpaw. Because of the centering and overall appearance, I would have definitely grabbed those, even with cut cancels.

Very attractive examples. I like spending time with Earl and his wife; both fun people to talk with. I haven't bought anything major from him in years, but I always drop by his booth at CHICAGOPEX when he attends.
