I am working on some Prominent American pages done. I still have to proof them more and finish the set before printing final versions. For now I am using Mystic blank pages so not border needed and why they look off center. Pages done with Scribus. |

Today I completed the MYSTIC 2016 supplement. I wonder how many more supplements I will be doing. Genetically speaking, I am "in the window". My father, grandfather, and great grandfather (all named John Kelley) all died between 67 and 75. I am in the middle as I write this.

On Saturday I visited the Rhodesia Study Circle AGM which was held in a very nice hotel near Coventry in the British Midlands. The talks were interesting and the displays exceptional. All these wonderful stamps and covers! I even bought a few things too. |

I hope you're right, Geoff. My grandfather's brother DiD live to age 76; breaking the pattern. But he was a Frank Kelley - not a Jack Kelley!

New issue day in Ireland. A set of four stamps at national rate ...ancient Royal sites. So just back from Dublin. A set of mint stamps, a set sent to myself and a postcard sent to myself with a first day cancellation. One of the royal sites is only 14 miles from me. The downside....there has been a massive price rise last week. The national rate is now €1 (up from €0.72) and internaional rate is now €1.35 (up from €1.10). The Irish Post Office is claiming that the new rates are still below European average and has published a list of about twelve countries to "prove it". It all seems a bit selective. I am stunned that it costs over €3 to send a letter in Denmark. The worrying thing is that the Post Office states there has been a 30% loss of mail business in just ten years. That is bound to have consequences. |

I had purchased some Scott catalogue page extracts. I have another 2017 set for Solomon Islands on the way. I put them in protective sleeves. |
