Rod I would like to add a nice cover kept by my father (deceased in 1999), showing us a LR Block on letter, nice postmark and if you do not have a corner block for this Unitrade/Scott # 610 - 1972[/b] you will not notice A) plate inscription incorrectly spelled "Krieghoff"(on stamp) as Kreighoff. Also of interest in this block, 1) the right lower stamp is a 610v (branch below sleigh variety 2) 2 stamps - left upper and lower are 610i (broken door frame on shed variety) I must admit I am a bad scanner - will work on the resolution of these   |

Rene, yes, you need to play around with your scanner. May I suggest, set the scan for the entire platen, set at 200dpi, that should get you a crisp, readable scan, at around 200Kb, when cropped. Good Luck. Page for those issues...huge voids. 1972 Page 4  |

Will follow your advice.Rod...am scanning at 300 dpi presently - donne at 200 dpi so I have to learn to get better resolution
