Two covers, death of Roosevelt and Inauguration of Truman, 4/12/1945

These may very well be non-existent. Warm Springs is a tiny village, less than 500 population, even today. FDR died early in the afternoon and I'm sure the town shut down once the news got out. So only mail processed that morning would have been cancelled on 4/12/45. That's a very narrow window of opportunity. In DC there was more time and motivated stamp dealers.

You are probably right GregAlex, Warm Springs GA on that date may not exist.
If you find one, please post it.

Here is a Kennedy cover postmarked Nov. 22 1963, the day of his assassination. What I like about this cover is the stamps, the other 3 assassinated Presidents. Lincoln, Garfield and McKinley.

I would have passed right over this cover, except I happened to be thinking about FDR. Nothing special about it apart from the date -- April 12, 1945.
