It seems set 1 is a basic set as listed in the Scott catalog. Set 2 is what I will use (or a customized variation) when I come around to mounting my Exportas, after examining the pages for correctness, etc.

Beware: I noticed that fluorescent (and fluorescence) is misspelled when the word appears in the headings (spelled "flour...").

I'm kinda bummed that there is so little available regarding Mexico Philately but I guess excrement occurs. My 1992 paperback of Linn's "Introduction to The Stamps of Mexico" arrived Saturday so I'm reading that, good book for a beginner like me!!! Nice small section & some charts on the Exportas too that I understand earlier vers did not have. My quest continues and thx too all for suggestions as my folder of websites & files etc slowly grows.

There is a Facebook group working on the Exportas! Apparently I am not allowed to place a link!?

In this group the latest discoveries are shown and also the mistakes made in earlier lkstings by cataloguemakers and dealers!
)
Just search for "1975-93. México Exporta (Serie Permanente)"

Grandpa John

Exactly what are you looking for in the way of literature? Catalogs for Exporta issues? General issues?

Consider joining MEPSI, and purchase the DVD o the past 60 years of their Mexicana Journal. It has virtually everything you could want to know, and a few color pictures to boot.

Went off to have a look - it looks fascinating so I joined! It's been that sort of a month so far, holidays and visitors sorted - all sorts of jobs I've been meaning to do ticked off the list. New Year? I don't know, it wasn't one of my resolutions......... but it feels pretty good actually

Welcome to MEPSI then.

If you will describe your Mexico interests perhaps I can point you to some relevant literature.

An earlier post mentioned Dale Pulver's book published by Linn's / Amos Publishing. A couple of years ago, several MEPSI members put together a complete PDF File of all the Linn's columns, many which were not part of the book due to space considerations and timing - the column continued for several years after the book was published.

Unfortunately this PDF is currently only available for distribution to MEPSI members.
