I find digital publication software (some call flip style) used by Linn's, The Insider, etc (flip style) to be a good compromise. The interface has improved a lot and generally better than web or pdf style. You can always download the PDF version if you want to save it and you can print pages from it which I can consider a plus to create a digital scrap book.
I'll keep most of my subscriptions. I'm on the fence about a couple of publications from specialty societies, mostly because I'm on the fence about continuing to collect those areas. Magazines and journals don't take a huge part of my budget, and if I like the contents, I'm happy to support their efforts.
The American Stamp Dealer and Collector desperately needs a proofreader/copy editor, but there are always at least a couple of interesting articles.
I've not renewed a single society membership yet, and am still debating on a couple. The biggest reason I join are access to journals/magazines. Meh, who knows.
I let my Linn's run out a few months ago. The problem is I don't find myself missing it all that much, with the exception of the classifieds, which for some reason, I was obsessed with reading.
