Jack - it's a logical question. Everyone is having fun & making jokes because it is a stamp that simply does not exist.

The 3c Washington stamp pictured is, in reality, purple. There is no red version. If it was real, it would be worth millions - as a never-seen-before error. Unfortunately, it isn't...it is just a fake.

If you look at the picture of the back of the stamp - in the lower right corner - you can see some of the dark/purple ink showing through from the front. The rest of the stamp is in such horrible condition that seeing anything is impossible.

My best guess is that this is a masterful work of photoshop editing. Others may offer something different when they stop laughing...

The stamp is not a fake and the scan is not photoshopped.
It is a color changeling, fairly common to the 3 cent purple Washington/Franklins.
Essentially worthless.
