My youngest stamps are older than anyone I know, so new issues are of no concern.
As difficult as it is to get youngsters interested in stamp colleting, I wonder is the demise of new issues would really make much difference with regard to new collectors. Then again, if the young never see a stamp on an envelope how are they to even know that stamps exist, let alone that they are collectable.
