These were issued in 2003 in the U.K. and came with an additional sheet of self adhesive eyes, noses, hats etc to stick on.  |

Here are some of the above mentioned Great Britain fruit and vegatable stamps (GB, UK), postally used, with different parts added on. Notice that some have missing parts that have fallen off or been soaked off and stuck onto stamps other than those that they were originally stuck to. Still, a nice and amusing departure from your ordinary postage stamp!   |

A joint issue FDC with stamps from Singapore and Vietnam on the theme of local fruits. The thorny one with yellow inside is the durian, a pungent fruit that is only loved by the locals, the red one is the dragon fruit, the inside is white and well peppered with tiny black seeds.  |

James Grieve is a variety of apple named after its breeder who raised the apple from pollination of a Pott's Seedling or a Cox's Orange Pippin apple in Edinburgh, Scotland some time before 1893. Fruits in Slovenia - "Dolenjska voščenka" Apple (2000)
- The apple blossom weevil (Anthonomus pomorum) is one of the apple tree insect pests, which can do serious damage to apple trees, especially those that grow in dense orchards close to woods.
- The apple blossom.
- The Dolenjska voščenka (the Dolenjska wax apple) probably originates from the Dolenjska region, where it was developed as a random seedling or mutant. The variety is grown extensively on the right Sava riverbank next to the Mirna river. It is also referred to as "Sevniška voščenka" or "Dolenjka". The "Dolenjska voščenka" is one of the most tasteful domestic apple varieties.
