Had to laugh when I saw this one. Some sellers are absolutely shameless; $1.98 per fragment.

Pizza by the slice? Yes. Stamps by piece? No.

Busted! Although I think I'm seeing an ebay trend, as another stamp was shown on site also missing a chunk from the UR corner.

I've returned to ebay recently after a very long hiatus. Finding so much junk like this in stamps gets pretty depressing. At least I can power scroll past a lot of items per hour.

I recall some years ago Anglo-American Appraisal (an ebay seller to be devoutly ignored) had a one pound Bermuda keyplate for sale that had about the top 15% removed, and then re-perfed. Mike Japp (the owner) did offer an image of the stamp but did not mention any of the conditional "modifications." Instead his comment was that the stamp was "...a very presentable copy of this scarce printing."

Not that he ever had any credibility though.......
