Machin, Wilding, Chalon, Downey, Baby head, Curly head, obliterated head, Wing margin. I collect stamps on the theme of illustrating phrases or nicknames used in Philately. Steep learning curves are the norm.

Too Late

semi-postal

worn cliche

embellished cover

turned cover

blockade runner or cover

die proof

hand-back cancel

EFOs (errors freaks & oddities)

standing order

sniped bid

NARU (does ebay still use that term? (Not A Registered User)

clueless bunnies

wishful pinking

(I only heard that term used once, by a US collector describing early US stamps misidentified as a scarcer, pricier pink-colored stamp. Wish I remember which Scott number!?!)

--My apologies if I duplicated any already mentioned!
