David: The Italian European Recovery stamps of 1949(you send me one a while ago) and the Italian & "Tobacco" stamps are probably the first closely followed by a ERP stamp from Germany in 1950. There is also a set of stam[s from Yugoslavia for the Donau commission from 1949-- however, it's a Sympathy issue and not a forerunner... All these stamps have 2 things in common: europe and uniting it and high cat. value!

Bobggg-- that's a long epistle you send; did I see that particular page in my Europa News magazine!??! No, you can't sell me a bridge!

What exactly is this "New World Order" that a couple of posters are talking about ? I do not usually respond to political posts..but am curious ....

I thought this "New World Order" thing is from President George Bush, Sr. Wasn't he talking about a new world order when the Iron Curtain fell?
