No problem Andrew, perhaps it was my misunderstanding.

Here is an Austrian Art set from 1969 which I find very attractive.

Portrays various engravings, watercolours & pencil drawings from
famous artists.

Stamps were printed 1 colour (black) engraving and multi colour
photogravure.

MenzaMenz,

those are very nice, but I cannot enlarge / by clicking on individual stamp. If you scan each image separately, you are uploading separate files, and thus, I can enlarge to view details. Yes, we're very picky here, but the quirks are outweighed by the knowledge. :)

A couple of years ago I got my hands on this pretty little thing called "Lotus Pond with Willows" painted by Madame Chiang Kai-shek and part of a set of four issued in '75. I don't know what it is about it but I simply love it. Hope I'm not the only one.

Pierre Auguste Renoir
'The Umbrellas'

Not the best quality stamp from Ajman.
I wish France or someone would make some nice engraved stamps with Renoir's paintings. And Monet's too while I am at it.
