Thanks for your feedback. I think you're spot-on with your call on the 3R2L. I compared it with my ex-Amonette yellowish dull reds, and it does match well with those, and I'll update my records to show that. The ink quality on this one always nagged at me, but I never re-assessed it because of who colorized it for me.

The 3R2L wasn't a good example to show with the Canton stamp. But I want to try to help pin down the year of use for you, so I scanned it again with a no-doubt orange red (left) and another yellowish red (right). Too bad the Canton stamp has that distracting toning, but in person, I see it as orange red.
