We'll have to agree to disagree. Your many comments on this board reflect deep experience and knowledge, but here IMO you are ascribing a new definition to a term that is pretty precise. I am not aware of any catalog or philatelic writer referring to type variant pairs as se-tenant issues. But I'm probably nitpicking so let's move on.

@John and Sleepy. When I suggested to take it to the clerk to have it cancelled I meant to have it cancelled only. Not have it go through the mails.

I just think they are close cousins which do not get the respect they deserve as scarce multiples.
