Wert, why didn't you just post the link so he doesn't have to search for it anyway?

Nelson,

This book might be available from the Green Foundation:
CANADA'S DECIMAL ERA 1859-1868
(421pp - 1997)
George B. Arfken, Arthur W. Leggett

http://www.greenefoundation.ca/books.htm

I do not own it but it might be interesting.

Sorry !! wert and Nelson
A lot of good books are out of print, probably because the volume of sales does not cover a "reprint"

The BNAPS R Thompson book seems available on the link posted.

Richard Thompson's book is his lovely personal collection, on exhibit pages. Though I consider Richard a friend, Whitworth's book is the reference you want, still the best general reference on Decimals. Perhaps try Leonard Hartmann's Philatelic Bibliopole (pbbooks.com). If you are patient, one will turn up on ebay sometimes.

The Arfken & Leggett book is available on E-Bay:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/CANADAS-DE...AOSwoydWj0-C
The price is $100 plus shipping.

If I remember correctly it is about Postal History and not the stamp. My copy is up North and I am down South, so I cannot check at this time.

I would say check the usual suspects plus Friends of the Western Philatelic Library: http://www.fwpl.org/store/. The APRL may be able to provide a PDF for a charge: https://stamps.org/about-the-library

Audetnelson, I believe that CANADA'S DECIMAL ISSUE by George Arfken is still in stock at the Greene Foundation. You should phone Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday morning at 416-921-2073 when Margaret will be happy to take your order.
