Oh, yeah, postbeeld is pretty good. I've been happy with the stamps I get from them.

To Nils (or anyone who might know) - Nils, I forgot to ask, as you mentioned you bought from Postbeeld - did your orders from them have customs charges? I'm waiting on my shipment from them, a small order to start. Customs is confusing right now, and I believe that stamps don't get charged. In fact, in a more broad sense, do you pay customs on ANY international order? Thanks, let me know!

gnstamps80, so far, I haven't paid customs on any order. I have had a couple of packages get hung up in customs for weeks at a time, but all eventually got forwarded on to me. Some French dealers are a little prickly about the whole thing and insist on sending the stuff through DHL or another service (pricey!)... but, again, no fees.

I'm getting stuff from all over Europe, with a handful from Asia, Australia and Canada. My biggest problem for some reason is stuff coming out of Germany... I only just started receiving things ordered from that country in November!

By the way, rainrainbow, nice cover! One of my favorite stamps. I've found a few on commercial covers for my own collection, but not a heck of a lot.

Thanks for letting me know, Nils! Crazy world we live in! Also, those are some really nice covers! The older ones are stunning, I've noticed. Gives me a few ideas!

I'd assume more covers exist for any particular stamp, then there are stamps themselves, it appears. Interesting! I own 3 albums of common covers, cacheted - The US Wildlife, Birds and Flowers, and Wildflowers. All are the 50 stamp sets. Very common, I know, but it was a nice collection regardless, at a fair price. Hey, we can all use more stamps, right? :)

Oh, yes! I never disparage "common" covers... you might find that they become rare in a few years.

I bought a collection of over 400 different butterfly themed covers once. Probably ten years ago... and I'm still sorting them to this day!

You have a valid point, Nils! With stamps, nothing is trash... well, except for mass-produced CTOs! I cringe just thinking of THAT money scheme! However, thats what got me into stamps, as a kid at least. I used to love to buy 1000 WW stamps for $5.00. Myself, and my best friend loved looking through them! It had me re-interested years later. Very nice covers you just posted as well!

Thought I'd share another favorite birds set of mine - British Honduras # 167-178. This set was so stunning when I saw it for the first time, that it literally made me start collecting again. Beautiful!
