I've loved (and wanted) the Zeps ever since I was a kid. I still don't own a set, but I do have a MNH Baby Zep.

ebay and other online venues have driven the price down of these and so many more collectibles. My dad collects Lionel trains and the same things is true there. Still, some of the most beautiful stamps I've seen...

Does anyone have a spare set, no . Okay thought I'd ask. I need it real bad, well those and the Jennys to finish this Airmail book. I saw someone waiting since 1982. That leaves me out for the next thirty plus years. Treina

@TJA - I know it's a tough decision to make. I started collecting in 1959 and didn't buy my Zepps until 2016 so I waited 57 years before biting the bullet. Of course it comes down to buying the set or never completing the U.S. airmails.

Dry Tech,

I waited, too. But not as long as you. I saved a lot of money by waiting.

I purchased my zeps in order to complete my airmails. Not much more than that.

When I looked at the 1980 catalog prices for the Zepps compared to what I paid, I guess I saved a lot by waiting too.

I'm getting close to that point myself. I recently bought a C4, which is on its way, so my next targets are C5 and C6. After that, it'll just be the Jennys and the Zepps for me, too.
