Repaired stamps are extremely common. Some are easy to detect while others are more difficult. The seller of this item below apparently missed the repair or shall we say, improvement of the stamp.

Isn't it inkjet print, please? On ebay you can find absolutely anything described in absolutely any way.

Starting with the fake perforations, added margins and corners, what's not to like? Apparently someone may also have been adept at drawing in missing design elements. It is difficult to know which parts of the stamp are real, if any. Now, add Photoshop to the mix....

It is the ultra rare unlisted part perf variety with a presale estimate of $997.68. We shall start the bidding at 99 cents. Free shipping. Good luck!

Rogdcam, solid inkjet cartridges are expensive - the seller needs to recover his manufacturing costs

I'm with rodgcam its the very very rare and ultra scarce part perv Franklin. A must for any collection. Such a rare and scarce stamp. There is only one known copy to date so you better buy now as this stamp won't be here for long. So don't delay and but today!!!

Nothing but pun intended. Maybe the stamp has a lot of sentimental to the collector and wanted it to stay intact.
