There is no one reference for plating the 1857's. There are similar articles written by Alexander for Plates 10 and 11. Most of the plates have not been reconstructed beyond the top row. Some reconstructions haven't even made it that far. Almost all of my focus is now on the perforated 3c stamps from Plates 9 to 28.
