Nice Pages Cursus,

The Anchor is a n allegory of hope.
The Swiss sport of rock pitching (stone throwing)
My favourites are the early Coats of Arms.

Thank you very much, Rod. I'll do it and look through my "semi-postal" duplicates (if I can find them!) and see if I can help you. After visiting Switzerland on 2014, including their gourgeous postal (actualy, "Communication") museum in Bern, I started to collect that country seriously. Next summer (covid allowing!) I plan to go there again for two weeks. The Swiss border is just 900 km from my home. Easy, to leave early and be there on the afternoon.  |

Thank you for sharing the very interesting article re Courvoisier. Beyond philately, architectural history is my passion. Had the good fortune to spend a few days in La Chaux-de-Fonds in Spring 2019.
LCF is a renown horological center as well as key European Art Nouveau capital. It is also the birthplace and childhood home of one of the architectural greats of the 20th Century: Le Corbusier. Several of his works remain extent, including the house (Maison Blanche) he designed for his parents.
Le Corbusier is featured in Switzerland's "Portrait and Signature" series of 1972.
