In your initial entry, you asked if the "go to man" was a member here, but didn't mention him by name, which you later indicated is Horace Harrison. I believe that the initial entry is what confused some members.

Here is your answer.

For those interested, I direct you to Horace Harrison's book, "Canada's Registry System" by Hennok, 1987.

May 10, 2017 - Horace W. Harrison.
The late Horace Harrison, a long-time member of the Society who served as its President shortly before his passing, firmly believed that philatelic knowledge should be shared among all philatelists. In his will, Horace bequeathed financial support to BNAPS to encourage such projects. BNAPS decided to place the vast library of information contained in back issues of BNA Topics on its website.

Hello BlackJag,
Just a correction on the date of Horace's passing...It was October 4, 2002 that he left us, way before 2016.
Just trying to help.

If you can get hold of Robert A. Lee's catalogue(s) of the Horace Harrison Registered / Express Companies material I think you'll find some useful info therein. I wish I still had one, lost when moving. Maybe a member here can help.

Useful references for Canadian Registered stamps includes:

ROBERT A LEE PHILATELIST LTD., Auction 94 May 8, 1999, the Harry Lussey Collection

CANADA'S REGISTERED LETTER STAMPS: A Reconstruction of the Horace Harrison Exhibits. Prepared by Jean & Bill Walton and published by BNAPS as No. 29 in the BNAPS Exhibit Series
