Hi, excuse me. does anyone knowing about Japan Comic Postcard? I have 2 pcs of them but there are different in backside paper. I just curious which one is original or made first. I have been check both of them with black light and they not fluorescent
This was a large series describing japanese soldiers live in the 1930s. Text in syllabics so that also schoolchildren could read it. See card at left. The series was adopted as a military mail postcard topic from 1937, see at right.
In general, servicemen received a pack of 10 of such military mail cards monthly, two with pictorials on reverse, eight blanc. These were "semi" official, sponsored by "patriotic organizations".
