Not much, probably, Aurora (I can't speak to the CUBA overprint, though). Most are damaged or common, hence little value. The one exception might be the Scott #116 (ten-cent 1869, third stamp in fourth row) which looks pretty well-centered. If some of the others have grills that would add value, of course. |

That's a nice small collection of some classic US stamps. Not common by any means.
Bunch in obviously bad shape. Need better scans - front & back - to determine value & condition.
But if you went to sell them, you'd get alot more than $20. Min $50 would be my guess - maybe more? |

Aurora, for the US stamps first thing is to look at the 10-cent 1869 (yellow eagle and shield). If it has no faults you have a nice stamp there. Then look at the Scott #75 (red brown, second stamp in third row)--ditto regarding faults. On closer examination I see that the left-hand stamp in the bottom row has a grill, which makes it more valuable than the ungrilled version. Check the other US stamps for grills, too. |

The 10¢ Washington on the right hand side, center row looks like it may have been trimmed to make a perforated stamp look like an imperf. |

I agree with Dudley, the 116 ane 75 may have some potential value, depending upon condition. |

I never received these stamps. The seller on e-Bay just disappeared, and I had to request a full refund. Sadly to mention, the seller sent me a message (immediately after I paid) informing me that her/his DAD passed away, and she/he will come back next week. I was polite and nice, but as I learned - it wasn't necessary. I was a victim of a fraud. So, please be aware seeing the same pics anywhere else. And I am sorry that I was so excited & posted these pics before I actually got the stamps. Anyway, I am very thankful for all your comments - I learned something new. |
