If you go to any major stamp auction ,there are always dozens of these unprocessed or half-organized lots . Most if not almost all collectors turn into some kind of hoarder with this type of material ,it is not even surprising to find lots where the previous owners purchased very expensive material that end up in these half process accumulations. The auction houses find it a waste of time to go thru all the envelopes or glassines they just dump everything into a large box and that is how it is sold .

I love buying up smaller collections or country specific stockbooks. I just have too many loose stamps that I'm constantly organizing so I keep the collection buying to smaller lots when I can. That way I can slip them in presorted and not toss them in to the stamp tub.

Hi rainigstamps,

you have at least few steps ahead. as Doug mention.

I use vario stock sheet three ring I buy from Amos Advantage or

green dragon. Different rows of pocket starting full sheet to 6-7 sizes.

mostly I use 1-5 size more only few more than 5 rows.
