In 1955 The Worshipful Company of Fishmongers, London, commissioned the Italian artist Pietro Annigoni to paint a portrait of the Queen in her Order of The Garter Robes.  If you look to the little lake to the left side of the Queen, you will see a boat. In the boat is Mr Annigoni.  The portrait was used on British Commonwealth stamps many many times. This thread will show them. |

We start with Antigua, who used the portrait a number of times. Inauguration of the British Caribbean Federation (Common design type) SG 135 - 137 Engraved. Printed by Bradbury Wilkinson.    |

The next set are almost identical to the immediately previous set. The difference is the perforation. The SG numbers are identical bar the addition of 'A'. Antigua 1966 Definitives Perf 13˝ SG 180A - 195A Designed, engraved and printed by Bradbury Wilkinson.      |
