I think the question is about the missing flag on the ship's mast on the right-hand stamp.
May just be overinking of the red colour?

I don't collect stamps from other countries than Canada.
ikeyPikey - does your answer mean that this one stamp was used by 5 different countries or postal areas? |

The postage mark on the right that does not have a flag on the mast
This postage stamp does not exist in the catalog
The red circle emphasized the lack of flag

Does anyone know anything about the postage stamp on the right without a flag on the mast.
And does it have any greater value, because it is not in the catalog |

Perica, Nigelc gave you the answer. It is not listed in a catalog because it is just a freak or an oddity - overinking is not an error, just poor quality control. The stamp is worth only pennies but is a keeper

From the scan, I can't see that there is excessive inking. So, it may not be an inking freak.
If it is a true plate flaw, existing on the same sheet position for some or all off the print run, then it would very likely be listed in a specialized country catalog (Ceres) of France. Sometimes, plate flaws are listed only in very specialized books by people who have studied the particular stamps for many years. If a member of this forum has such information, I am sure he/she will respond. |

More than just the same 'variety', but rather the exact two same stamps. perica = mvojnovic |
