Update to this thread. Sent the item to PF and received this cert. I thought the cert would be useful in my reference collection and would prevent a future owner from believing this stamp might be something that it is not.

No, the next guy may be likely to just throw away the certificate. This might even be done in light of the recent discussion casting doubts on the accuracy of expert groups over time. And how do you store your certificates? If it isn't with the stamp, it will likely get separated from the stamp at some point.

You asked the question here, and more than one person gave you the correct but contrary answer. I give you tons of credit for posting the result, but you could have saved yourself a fair amount of money. That was largely our thought, I believe. Next time, just send an item to the PF or APEX.
