Take a week to see the sights on the way to Hartford and Cleveland. Although Cleveland is in March, which is a bad time to drive across the country. |

I was referring to the APS shows in Hartford next year and Cleveland in 2022 - I believe that was approved at the Omaha show. Is there another show in Cleveland? |

Looking at the APS website, looks like it's Hartford, Chicago, Sacramento, then Cleveland in 2023. |

APS has certain criteria for venues and not every city has what they want. |

Some convention centers are linked to hotels and thus require substantial room-night and food-service minimums. They price themselves out of the market with their "package deal" |

The 2018 APS at the Columbus Convention Center was connected to 2 hotels and I loved the convenience. Not to mention, I was able to get seated and shop for long periods with both A & D and A to Z. |

I'm betting every dealer's heart skipped a beat when Warren Buffett walked through the door. Doesn't sound like he bought anything there, but of course they didn't know when he walked in that he was just checking things out. Would have been kind of funny if he just bought a bunch of discount postage or went to the stamps by the bucket booth. |

I would not have recognized him. He does not come across with airs of superiority, |

Quote: He does not come across with airs of superiority, No, far from it, he's about as down to earth as they come. He still lives in the same modest house he bought back in the '50's, before he made all his money. At one point his neighborhood was zoned as "blighted" in Omaha and targeted for urban renewal. No, his surroundings would never be mistaken for "the hood", but his house was actually located in a district the city wanted to spruce up, i.e. not some gated neighborhood or mansion in the country. I only mention that to show that he's one of the last people you'd expect to go around acting like he's better than anyone else. |
