Just a quick update, I'm on holiday this week and next week, so there wont be any activity here (unless I come across something interesting in a Berlin flea market). |

The key to Worldwide Stamp Collecting is organization . It is NOT a matter of money or who could buy the most .
We see every month "collections" come on the market that is nothing but accumulations and boxes and boxes of unsorted lots .
I seen on here and other chat rooms people claim their collection has X amount of stamps but when someone asks a question about some stamp never a scan ,others never show the stuff they are working or a display of a finish page . We don't need to see thousand dollars of stamps to be impress anything you are doing in your own collection will get positive responds here .
The key is to be proud of what your doing and show others that your expanding your collection ,even a organized stock page of duplicates will show others your organized . |

Floortrader, I don't know what prompted your posting but I haven't mentioned spending the most money or claimed to have X amount of anything. |

Pay no heed, Maiden. I don't think he was talking about you anyway.
But I'll talk about you!
My WW looks nothing like yours. My collection merely consists of a Harris Citation updated with current pages. I am going country by country and am only up to Canada. It is priority three on my list with Machins and QEII taking precedence at the present time. If I wasn't so advanced (in years) I would do the same as you.

Maiden, it would be appreciated if you could report on that flea market, however brief. Finding postcards and even tourist stamp packets would count for me as "something found". Everyone can't only be on ebay, hopefully. |

The point is to stay focus and organized ,too many worldwide collectors fall into the trap of just buying more and fail to keep a organized collection. I see it all the time at the stamp auctions. |

Maiden...I was wondering if you plan to continue posting in this thread as you haven't posted anything in almost a month and a half. I, along with many others I'm sure, enjoyed your posts and sincerely hope that you will continue. I really like this type of thread and look forward to seeing where your journey leads. |

I've been enjoying this thread - and as a matter of fact I'd be interested in a report on Berlin flea markets too! |

Hi guys, a quick update. After my holiday it took me a couple of weeks to catch up with the work backlog, then starting to sort out my jungle of a garden as the weather here has been really good, then I had a rather nasty bout of flu which put me out of action for a couple of weeks...hence not much going on with me stamp-wise for the past month or so.
Normal service will now be resumed however :) |

Maiden your post reminds me of one of my favorite lines from Fawlty Towers - "Normal service has been resumed as soon as possible." |

Maiden Thank you for your posts, great reading and pictures. That Calico looks a lot like mine, Che Che, they are so smart and sweet. Please keep the posts and pictures coming. |
